Freelance IT Consultancy & Digital Marketing
Marketing that brings customers in. IT that keeps everything running. One freelancer for both.
Slow pages, a site nobody finds, tracking that broke two years ago — and backups nobody has tested, hosting nobody owns, hardware quietly ageing past support. I'm Nico De Muynck. I cover both sides for Belgian businesses: the marketing that pulls people in, and the IT that keeps it all standing — as one person you actually talk to, not an agency that hands you off to three juniors.
The problem
You know something is off. You just can't tell what.
Almost every business I meet is stuck on one of these — half on the marketing side, half on the tech behind it. If two or more sound familiar, there is quick, cheap ground to recover.
-
Nobody finds you on Google
Your competitor ranks for the search that should be yours. Not because they are better — because their pages are structured for it and yours are not.
-
The site looks fine, but nothing happens
Traffic comes in, no one calls. Usually a missing offer, a buried contact form, or a page that takes six seconds to load on 4G.
-
Your numbers are guesswork
GA4 half-installed, conversions not tracked, ad spend judged on gut feel. You cannot improve what you are not measuring.
-
Your tools don't talk to each other
Webshop, mailing list, bookkeeping and stock all live in separate boxes, and someone copies data between them by hand every week.
-
Nobody actually owns your IT
Hosting, domains, backups, mailboxes, ageing hardware. Fine until the day it isn't, and then nobody knows where the passwords are.
-
You're one bad day from downtime
No tested backup, an expired certificate, a server running software that stopped getting security updates. It all works — right up until it very publicly doesn't.
The fix
One freelancer for the marketing and the IT.
Most problems above sit right on the seam between marketing and IT — which is why marketing agencies and IT shops keep pointing at each other. I work both sides of that seam: getting you found and converting, and keeping the systems underneath fast, backed up and secure. Nothing falls through the gap.
Services
What I can take off your plate
-
01
IT management & hosting
Hosting, domains, mailboxes, backups and the day-to-day upkeep that keeps everything online. One person who actually owns it, so you always know who to call.
-
02
Security & lifecycle
Security hygiene, updates and patching, and planning hardware and software replacement before support runs out — so a known risk never becomes a 2 a.m. emergency.
-
03
Websites & webshops
Fast, SEO-ready sites that load in under a second and are built to be edited. WordPress, Shopify, or hand-written PHP when a CMS would only get in the way.
-
04
Automation & integrations
Connect your shop, CRM, mailing list and admin so data moves by itself. The weekly copy-paste job becomes a thing that just happens.
-
05
SEO & local search
Technical audit, keyword and intent research, on-page work, structured data, and a Google Business Profile that actually pulls in customers from your region.
-
06
Advertising & analytics
Google and Meta campaigns built around real search intent, with GA4 and conversion tracking done properly — so you can see exactly what every euro of ad spend returns.

About
Hi, I'm Nico.
I run MAXSO from Blankenberge on the Belgian coast. For over a decade I have worked on both sides of the digital fence: the systems that have to keep running — hosting, mail, backups, security — and the marketing that has to produce numbers.
That combination is the whole point. I can restore a broken mailbox and check your backups in the morning, then debug why your server is dropping requests in the afternoon — and still understand why any of it matters to the customers trying to reach you.
I work with a small number of clients at a time, which means you get the person who did the work, not an account manager relaying messages. If a job is not a good fit, I will say so and point you somewhere better.
